GURRIERS

Described by the Irish Times as “raw as a butcher’s cut, and just as fresh”, GURRIERS‘ raging combination of punk, noise, alt-rock and shoegaze coupled with singer Dan Hoff’s intense socio-political lyricism, has been championed across the UK’s BBC Radio 6Music, Radio X & Radio 1’s evening shows, 2FM, Today FM & Live 95FM in Ireland, Kink, Pinguin & 3voor12 in the Netherlands, AM1 plus Spin Magazine and The Needle Drop in the US among others.

Explosive new single ‘Nausea’ follows the Feb 2023 release of their debut single “Approachable” praised by The Line Of Best Fit as “a post-punk masterwork,” whilst May’s follow up single “Sign Of The Times” was described by Hot Press as “just as enraged, frenetic and full-blooded as their debut”.

Since their first gig on Halloween 2021, Gurriers have quickly established themselves as one of the most furiously exciting bands to come out of Ireland these last few years.

Cutting their teeth supporting acts like Enola Gay, Surf Curse, Been Stellar and Goat Girl, their reputation and growing notoriety live saw them booked on to a string of festival bills in 2022 including SWN (UK), Mad Cool (ES), Reeperbahn (DE) plus Into The Great Wide Open, Left Of The Dial, Bruis and London Calling (all NL).
