Now residing in Leeds, this self-sufficient, multi-instrumentalist now spends most days in his bedroom, in his adopted north, chipping away at his distinctive sound. wax works’ proclaims his sound to be a sort of ‘love child’ of self-producing indie pop stars Dayglow and Alfie Templeman, and 80s disco and funk.
